Cork City Council Heritage Plan 2021-2025

Dúnta2 Már, 2020, 12:00am - 30 Aib, 2020, 11:59pm

We want to know the aspects of Cork City's heritage that you value and want to see understood, enhanced and celebrated.

Our heritage is diverse and vibrant and is all around us. It includes archaeology, built, natural and cultural heritage. It is to be found in our Archives, Museums and Libraries and can be experienced through our landscapes, parks, geology, local history and folklore, maritime heritage, turns of phrase, accents, local customs and traditional food. It is what we the community who live, work and study in Cork city have inherited from the past, what defines Cork city, and makes it unique and distinct from any other place.

The information gathered will feed into the next Cork City Heritage Plan, which will guide the implementation of priority heritage actions over the next five years.
