Route selection process

In order to provide a back up crossing for the Jack Lynch tunnel I am forwarding an impression of what can be put in place.

By putting a high level bridge or a bridge that can be raised and lowered just east of Blackrock castle the pillars would also support a dry dock gate to protect the city from high tides.

I have also proposed a corridor connection to the Tivoli site from the northern end of the Jack Lynch Tunnel.

The road on the northern side of the bridge will require an elevated roundabout over the Dunkettle roundabout, not the interchange.

The plan can provide an approach road from the end of the Centre Park road to the bridge protruding into the water that would provide an alternative for city traffic also.

The road can be concealed with high embankments, which would also create a lake for wild life, water sports etc.
