Built Heritage Objectives

I would like to see a development plan that focuses on a city that works for its occupants.

A city that does not work only for vested interests; both individual and corporate

A city that does not allow its historic core to decay and sink into dereliction

A city the places more value in the arts; creating spaces in which they thrive

A city where the rights of the many to have a liveable space outweighs the rights of the individual to own and hoard property.

A city that doesn't commodify its urban space to be traded for profit; where its use value to its citizens is more important than its commercial value.

This city can be achieved with the will and vision to do it.
