Iarnród Éireann is planning for a major expansion of rail as set out in our transformative 2027 Strategic Plan. We are planning to significantly improve and upgrade our commuter, regional and Intercity offering by providing additional capacity, higher frequency of service and improved journey times across our range of services. Our submission outlines the key improvements and issues of relevance to the update of the Cork City Development Plan. IÉ would like the Council to consider this submission in the update of the Development Plan.
