Seeing the International success of the Waterford Greenway ( recently second in the Excellence Category at the 10th European Greenways Award) there seems to be an uncharacteristic local lack of ambition in not making the Lee to Sea Greenway a specific transport objective for planning and funding. This would be a catalyst for enhanced cycling within Cork, and a tourist atttaction.
