I am a special needs teacher working in Montenotte. Many of my students will never learn to drive and are great users of public transport. It highlights for me the many long roundabout ways that cyclists, pedestrians and public transport users have to face when simple permeability changes could make journeys much shorter and simpler

All efforts should be made to increase permeability for pedestrians/cyclists including building new accesses and opening semi-public access routes (e.g. COPE Foundation controlled gate to Tank Field, but many other parts of the city) Perhaps security cameras/ timed locked gates could reassure current stakeholders.
