“Age friendly parking to be provided in Cork City Centre” (Cork Age Friendly representatives recognise that there is no legal basis for age friendly parking but also recognise the work done by other local authorities to provide age friendly parking in town centres)
4.4 Active travel
Additional wording for the objective:
“Ample provision to be made for pedestrians with foot paths wide enough for older people and people with disability. Where possible cycle lanes and pedestrian pathways to be kept separate”
4.5 Permeability
Additional wording for the objective:
“Clear marking to denote where cycle lanes start and lit signage to show where cycle lanes cross footpaths especially leading to a pedestrian crossing”
