I wish to object strongly to the proposed rezoning of lands on the Lee Rd. This is a green belt area which supports several species of wildlife. The proposed plan would I believe pose a serious threat to the wildlife in the area not to mention the loss of biodiversity at a time when we should be doing all that we can to preserve our natural resources.

Furthermore this is a plan for high density housing without the infrastructure such as water and sewage services to support it. Public transport on the Lee Road is practically non existent, in fact when I inquired in the City Bus Depot about Busses servicing The Lee Road, I was told there were none, which would lead me to conclude that there are no immediate plans to improve the bus service on this route. The Lee Road is narrow and devoid of cycling lanes, any significant increase in traffic would I believe prove hazardous to cyclists and to pedestrians walking the narrow foothpaths.

Yours Sincerely

Terri O'Sullivan
