To whom it concerns:

I object in the strongest of terms to amendments 1.241 & 1.247 of the 

City Development Plan.

As a resident of Ballintemple, and a regular user of the Marina Park, Marina walk

and all surrounding areas, the very idea of a traffic choked arterial road dissecting 

this area is abhorrent. The noise pollution and air pollution alone would make this

precious amenity unusable, not to mention the increased traffic & congestion it would

lead to. This would also greatly increase the dangers to those wanting to walking & 

cycle in the area.

I hope my concerns will be listened to & taken into account and these amendments 

are rejected.
