I would like to raise an objection to the proposed road through The Marina Park area. I feel it will cut through the communities in the area as the south link and ring road do. It will cause a huge amount of noise pollution and damage the use and amenity of the area around Marina Park. I also feel it will cause “induced demand” and increase traffic. I would prefer to see the proper and thoughtful implementation of Bus Connects, LUas and diversion of shorter trips to walking and cycling etc. I feel over all it is in contravention of our climate goals as it will increase road traffic and should not go ahead.
