Our client is an individual from Cork City who owns lands that are currently zoned for residential development and they are in the process of preparing a planning application for new dwellings for the owner occupier market.
Under Ireland 2040, Cork is expected to see a population growth of 55 per cent and our client's proposed development will add much needed new housing to the market.
We request that for the Development Plan 2022-2028, that Cork City Council retains the zoning that currently applies to our clients land between R615 And Rathcooney Road, Banduff.
Our Client will shortly be submitting a planning application for c. 250 new dwellings for the owner-occupier market.
The houses are much needed in Cork City and will help ease the current housing shortage.
The Planning Application for the Proposed Development will also include a traffic management plan and address concerns relating to all ancillary services.
