Hello,
I am a resident of Cork City, I grew up here and I'm hoping to buy my home here.
I want to live in a city that treats people fairly so that all can enjoy it.

Please address deriliction in the city. It is unacceptable that so many are hopless while homes lie empty.
We are not a safe and inclusive city until everyone lives in a home of their own that cannot be taken from them.
Collecting the tax on derelict properties will hopfully make big progress towards this.
I absolutely welcome the 15-minute city concept for Cork, and I hope that substantial progress is made towards this.
In relation to the build environment, as electric cars become more common, community charging facilities should be provided, so that wires are not dragged across pavements and footpaths, which would significantly reduce accesibility of the city.
I see the walking and cycling targets as too-low, and a contradiction to the 15-minute city concept in other chapters.
If the 15-minute city concept is progressed then the proportion of people walking should increase.
I also see 4% cycling share as too low.
I would love to cycle, but there are very few cycle lanes in the city. Having protected cycle lanes everywhere would facilitate a far greater mode share.
References to the accessibility of the city were short. The mode share targets do not include people who are mobility impaired. Recent measures to allow further use of the streets have reduced the street space for people who use wheelchairs or need the support of another person. Any 'pedestrian' measures need to include accessibility.
