PUBLIC NOTICE

Cork City Casual Trading Bye-Laws 2022

Cork City Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Casual Trading Act 1995, as amended and all other enabling statutory powers hereby gives notice of its intention to make new Bye-Laws for the control and designation of casual trading in the administrative area of Cork City.

A copy of the draft Cork City Council Casual Trading Bye-Laws 2022, may be viewed or inspected during the period from 10th February 2022 to 11th March 2022 (both dates inclusive) at: -

https://consult.corkcity.ie, or at Reception Desk, Cork City Council, Civic Offices, Anglesea Street Cork, T12 T997.  Please Note due to current public health advice all such inspections shall be by appointment only.  Please phone 021-492 4182 to arrange an appointment.

Observations or submissions regarding the proposed Bye-laws are invited from members of the public and other interested parties from the date of the publication of this notice up to 25th March 2022 and any submissions received during this period shall be considered by the Council.

Submissions or observations on the proposed bye-laws may be made: -

At https://consult.corkcity.ie, or in writing (and marked bye-laws submission) to Administrative Officer, Property Services, Corporate Affairs & International Relations Directorate, Cork City Council, Civic Offices, Anglesea Street Cork, T12 T997. 

Please make your submission by one medium only i.e. online or in hard copy.

All comments, including names and addresses of those making submissions and observations, submitted to Cork City Council in regard to these Bye-Laws, will form part of the statutorily required report to be presented at the monthly meeting of Cork City Council. Accordingly, they will be included in the minutes of that meeting and may appear in the public domain. Cork City Council will retain data for no longer than is necessary and in accordance with the Council’s Data Protection Policy and Privacy Statement (which are available to view on www.corkcity.ie and relevant Data Protection legislation.
