Draft Traveller Accommodation Programme 2025 - 2029

Cork City Council has prepared a draft Traveller Accommodation Programme as required under the Housing (Traveller Accommodation) Act, 1998.  This is a five-year programme for delivering accommodation for the Traveller Community.

This programme is open for public consultation for a period of two months commencing on Friday 15th November 2024. All submissions or observations received will be considered prior to the finalisation of this programme which will then be sent to full Council for consideration and adoption.  This final programme will become effective from January 2025.

Submissions/observations regarding the Traveller Accommodaiton Programme can be submitted:

• In writing to Cork City Council, Housing Directorate, Traveller Accommodation Unit, City Hall, Cork

Closing date for all submissions is 12 noon on Wednesday 15th January 2025.
