NOTICE OF PROPOSAL

TO EXTINGUISH PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY

ROADS ACT 1993

TAKE NOTICE that Cork City Council, in pursuance of Section 73 of the Roads Act 1993, proposes to make an Order extinguishing the Public Right of Way more particularly described in the schedule here to with effect from a date to be specified in the said Order.

A Map showing the Public Right of Way proposed to be closed shall be available for inspection at the Main Reception Desk, City Hall, Cork, from 09.00-17.00 Monday to Friday up to Tuesday, 19th March 2024.  The map can also be viewed on https://consult.corkcity.ie.

Any objections or representations may be made in writing to the undersigned not later than 4pm on 2nd April 2024 or on https://consult.corkcity.ie.  Any person making such objection or representation may include a request in writing to state their case at an oral hearing conducted by a person appointed by Cork City Council for that purpose.

RIGHT OF WAY WHICH IT IS PROPOSED TO BE EXTINGUISH

The Northern Section of Elbow Lane, off Cook Street, Cork, which is located between Cook Street, Patrick Street, Robert Street and Oliver Plunkett Street, Cork.

The Northern Section of Elbow Lane, which runs from Cook Street for approximately 48.20 meters towards Oliver Plunkett Street, Cork, marked as Point AA to Point BB on said map.
