Cork City Council proposes to make an amendment to the Ballincollig Carrigaline Municipal District Local Area Plan 2017 under Section 20 (c) of the Planning and Development Act, 2000 (as amended) and Section 30. 4 (b) of the Local Government Act 2019. The purpose of the proposed amendment is to facilitate residential development in an area of high housing demand. The proposed alteration consists of material changes to the Ballincollig Carrigaline Municipal District Local Area Plan 2017.

 

This 8 week public consultation period runs from Monday December 21st 2020 until Monday February 8th 2021. Please make your submissions in line with the issues discussed within the Proposed Amendment No 1 Planning Report and include a summary of the key points you wish to make.

Cork City Council welcomes everyone (including young people or groups/ organizations representing the views of young people) to offer their views and observations on the Proposed Amendment.

We look forward to having a meaningful conversation on the proposed Amendment and encourage everybody to take part in the process.
