Cork City Council (Prohibition of Consumption of Intoxicating Liquor on Streets and in Public Places) Bye-Laws

Cork City Council proposes to make new bye-laws under Section 199(1) of the Local Government Act 2001 for the control of consumption of alcohol in public places in the City of Cork City.  These proposed bye-laws include provision for the serving of a notice on a person found to be in contravention, specifying a fixed payment to be paid, the non-payment of which will result in a prosecution in respect of any offence committed.

A copy of the draft Cork City Council (Prohibition of Consumption of Intoxicating Liquor on Streets and in Public Places) Bye-Law 2021 may be viewed or inspected during the period from 13 October 2021 to 15 November 2021 (both dates inclusive) at the following locations;
