Motorised Floating Swinging Bridge from Blackrock to the Tivoli Port site.
I am forwarding an impression of my proposed motorised floating swinging bridge from Blackrock to the Tivoli Port site.
This would give an opportunity for those working in Little Island an alternative to their cars on bikes / scooters etc.
A park and ride on the Tivoli Port site would provide parking access to Parc Ui Chaoimh.
The bridge would also provide access to Blackrock castle in the interest of tourism and link the Mahon greenway to the Marina.
The proposed car park can be a turning area and collection point for passengers to the city on a luas on rubber wheels.
