Dear Sirs

Formal Submission  Re proposed houses and pitches in front of Alden/Alden Grove by South link Road into Douglas

We are against any further development of this area which we have only learned about through word of mouth.

The area is, already noise polluted with no efforts by the city planners to control noise from traffic etc.  There is already light pollution from pitches on Nemo site which are blaring so other such playing fields should not be permitted. Residents already endure undue stress due to road noise and pitch lights Nemo.

Douglas  is already a bottleneck and the road near Douglas Credit Union is always blocked with traffic. Shamrock Lawn and Alden/Alden Grove Estates are always blocked at school times causing stress for the elderly and the residents in general. It is unwise to further add to a visible issue by adding more houses into a congested area.

Any access that will intrude on Alden/Alden Grove and through Shamrock Lawn will be opposed.

We ask that quality of life in an already congested and polluted area both traffic  noise  and light  be respected.. I would ask for reassurances and a reply in this matter.

The good work of Tramore Valley Park is not an excuse to destroy further wildlife green space and impose this stress on residents  in an attempt to solve  government issues.. Green party should aim to also keep Green Spaces.. Not pollute with congested living and should not  provide amenities for the benefit of some in society while others in their later years are blinded by lights. Totally unfair.

Access  to this development must not disturb residents and a focus should be to enhance wildlife areas not to  congest  and quality of life. This plan does not is giving with one hand ie the park but the residents of the area above mentioned pay a hefty price. No houses no pitches with lights. NO ACCESS THROUGH OUR AREAS.

Your sincerely Mary Finbarr Fitzharris  Alden Grove
