Hello,

I wish to make the below submission.

I strongly object to any building of new roads over the river Lee leading to docklands/over Marina Park. This will negatively impact the area and the future of cork City as a healthy, progressive place to live and work in.

The associated pollution, both air pollution and noise pollution as well as creation of excess traffic in this calm, peaceful residential area and public amenity park will destroy the area and negatively impact all who live and visit there.

I object to Amendments 1.241 & 1.247.

The roadway should not be built. Concentrate on shifting people from private cars to bus, train and bike instead. I suggest those proposing this new road to study induced demand and how it works. Any such plan for a new road goes directly against the current climate emergency we are in. Please see sense and remove this bizarre project from our beautiful City's development plan for the future.
