TRAFFIC CALMING WORKS

Notice Under Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994

 

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994, Cork City Council hereby gives notice of its intention to carry out Traffic Calming Measures at the following locations; 

Bishopscourt Drive

Market Gardens

Churchyard Lane

Meelick Park

Colmcille Avenue

Mervue Lawn

Connolly Road

Murmont Road

Farranferris Crescent

Oakfield Avenue, Glanmire

Friars Road

Soho Terrace

Glenheights Road

St. Josephs View, Glanmire

Kilbarry Place

The Cloisters, Ballincollig

Mahony's Avenue

 

 

Details of the proposed works are available for inspection online at https://consult.corkcity.ie and also at Reception Desk, Cork City Council, City Hall, Anglesea Street, Cork via appointment only on working days until 3rd October, 2021 between 10.00am and 4.00pm. Please phone 021-4924000 to arrange an appointment.

Any observations in relation to this proposal should be made electronically through https://consult.corkcity.ie/en/ or may be made in writing and submitted in an envelope clearly marked “Traffic Calming Works” to Roads Operations, Room 324 City Hall, Cork by 3rd October, 2021.

All comments, including names and addresses of those making submissions and observations, submitted to Cork City Council with regard to this scheme, will form part of the statutorily required report to be presented at the monthly meeting of Cork City Council. Accordingly, they will be included in the minutes of that meeting and may appear in the public domain. Cork City Council will retain data for no longer than is necessary and in accordance with the Council’s Retention Policy and relevant Data Protection legislation.
