With the success of the Waterford Greenway a similar investment into the 'Lee to Sea Greenway' will also be of huge benefit to Cork City.

This will benefit the city and local areas 1) attract tourists and a gateway to west cork 2) serve commuters 3) serve as a safe space for people to exercise. This will benefit greatly the new Lehenaghmore housing development and its young population.
