On the evening of the 10th June 2021 students on the Masters for Planning and Sustainable Development (M.Plan) in UCC undertook an online public engagement webinar (using Microsoft Teams) with the communities of Tower and Cloghroe to feed into the Tower and Cloghroe Collaborative Town Centre Health Check report they are working on in conjunction with The Heritage Council and Cork City Council. The students used the Place Standard Tool to ask a wide range of questions and facilitate a discussion with the attending members of the community. The attendees were told that the findings of the engagement exercise would be submitted to Cork City Council as part of the review of the Draft Cork City Development Plan. The attached report on Tower and Cloghroe, summarised by two of the M.Plan students, sets out the main findings of this consultation.
